Skeptics is an album that shows the maturity of a musical band in the same mode as the Police. Shakir's bass is reminiscent of Sting's, except with more musical range. Brady's guitar is electric and Muzzy's drumming is cool and does not overshadow Shak's bass or Brady's guitar.
Abstraction is what it implies and showcases the group's musical range and dexterity while the quick fire rapping from Shak fits it well. Strings, Look at the Lilacs and If I Knew are the other stand out songs. Guest vocalist Steph challenges both Shak and Brady to up their lyrical game. Overall Skeptics is a better album than it seems at first and will grow on you. It is musically and lyrically complex and not the run of the mill noisy, throw away albums that you will soon forget. Binger should be complimented for their courage for staying true to their music.
