Named one of the top five unsigned bands in the country by stalwart music rag Alternative Press, Boston’s Nemes appear poised for big things. The band’s latest record, I Carry Your Heart, has been turning heads (and ears) on music blogs and internet radio stations around the country, owing to its hard-charging, fiddle-fueled take on bluesy indie rock. Currently touring the Northeast, the band makes three local stops this week: Wednesday, December 10, at Nectar’s in Burlington; Friday, December 12, at Monopole in Plattsburgh; and Sunday, December 14, at Radio Bean in Burlington.
