John Stuart White age 72 years, died Monday morning, April 20, 2015 at his Fairfield residence with his loving family at his side.

Born in Fairfield, VT, January 31, 1943, he was the son of the late Delyle White and Carolyn (Paradee) White. He attended school in Fairfield and was later married to Priscilla Bockus who survives him. John and Priscilla were constantly together side by side working and enjoying life.

He enjoyed working and loved country music. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in St. Albans. John worked for Sheldon Pulp Mill for 39 years and his true love of life was his Maple Sugar Making operation.

In addition to his wife Priscilla, he leaves his children and their spouses; Tammy White and Billie Davis, Trace and Dan Renaud .

Brothers & sisters; Ruth and Clifford Bates, Stephen and Alesia White, Nancy Goodroe, Jean and Ted Burnell and Janet Nichols. Grandchildren; Chelsea Renaud and Soan Renaud. Great grandchild; Isabelle Renaud. Several nieces and nephews; Kris Bates, Sherry White, Lisa White, Sandra Barbieri, Steve White, Lynn Pare, Jill Goodroe, Karen Goebel, Tim Burnell, Brad Bates, Josh Bigelow and Josh Harding. Step children; Daniel Bockus, Sr., Jeffrey Bockus, Thomas Bockus and Tammy LaFrance.

Is keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, gift’s in John’s memory may be made to the Americans Diabetes Association, Vermont Affiliate, 77 Hegeman Avenue, Colchester, VT 05446 or to the American Cancer Association, New England Division, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05459.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton 05488.
