Larry James Tatro, age 56 years, died Monday September 7, 2015, at The University of Vermont Medical Center. A longtime resident of Highgate, Larry had recently been residing on Blake St., in Swanton Village.

Born in St. Albans on, October 7, 1958, he was the son of the late Clyde and Arlene (Bonya) Tatro. He graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School and has been associated in maintenance at the Highgate Sports Arena. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing softball, riding his bike and coaching softball.

Larry leaves two brothers, and their wives, Timothy A. and Brenda Tatro and Edwin L. and Rose Tatro all of Alburgh as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Sandy Greenwood, Joyce Bohannon, Brenda Mashtare and Florence Mashtare.

Larry’s family would like to offer a very special “Thank You” to Walter Medor and George Greenwood for all of their support and friendship.

Funeral Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Gifts in Larry’s memory may be made to the Highgate Sports Arena, 243 Gore Road, Highgate Center 05459.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton.
