FUNERAL HELD: Lee Allen Cassidy

DATELINE: Swanton / Highgate Center

A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 2 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home. The Reverend Kerry T. Cameron pastor of the 4 PT’s Rising United Methodist Parish which includes, West Swanton, Highgate Center, Rice Hill and Sheldon United Methodist Churches officiated.

Special Words of Remembrance were shared by Lee’s nieces Diane Cassidy and Tammy Cassidy Ruhl as well as well as James Lanoue owner of the Valleymar Farm in Lincoln, Vermont.

Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the Valleymar Farm of Lincoln, Vermont

Interment followed at the Cassidy family lot in the Highgate Center Cemetery with The Reverend Mrs. Cameron reading the committal prayers. The bearers were, Gary Root, Cory Root, Daryl Ruhl, Jarrod Cassidy, David Cassidy and Steve LaFar.

Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Robert Glidden Post 758, in St. Albans.
