Peter Kent Boucher, age 56, died of liver complications on Monday, July 20, 2015 in Williston, VT.

Peter is survived by his sister, Patricia Fallows and brother-in-law, Alden Fallows of Morrisville, Vermont, his son Christopher Boucher of Somerville, MA and his daughter, Jennifer Boucher of

Charlotte, N.C.. He is predeceased in his death by his mother, Anne Bosworth and his father, Robert Adam Boucher.

Peter was born on April 3, 1959. His career path as a software engineer allowed him to use his talents working in an area in which he was very passionate. Peter enjoyed camping with his children, listening to music, playing his guitar and being by the ocean. He spent every summer in his family home in Friendship, Maine.

His family would like to extend much gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the staff at the UVM Medical Center in the ER, ICU and Baird 4 for their compassion and excellent care. They would also like to thank the Palliative Care Team and Social Workers at the UVM Medical Center for being there to provide comfort and guidance.

We could not have gotten through these last few weeks without the love and commitment of the staff and volunteers of the Vermont Respite House. The care he received during his last days of life were truly exemplary.

And finally, his family would like to extend much love and thanks to Elizabeth Maille for being a loving friend to Peter through good and bad times.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vermont Respite House at 99 Allen Brook Lane, Williston, VT 05495 or the Palliative Care Service, UVM Medical Center, Smith 282A, 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, VT 05401. To send online condolences, please visit www.cremationsocietycc. Com.
