Obituary: Ronnie Allen Bockus

Ronnie Allen Bockus, age 50 years, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 1, 2013, at his Quail Drive home with his loving family by his side after a courage battle with brain cancer.

He was born on February 2, 1963, the son of the late Margaret (Greenia) and Arnold Bockus.

Ronnie attended Missisquoi Valley Union High school and made his career as a Machinist and Master Tool and Die Maker.

Known for his quick wit and sense of humor Ronnie will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Julie (Hodet) Bockus; his son, Jeremy Machia and his wife Tiffany (Jones), and his beloved granddaughter, Nataleigh Wynter Machia all of Willard, NC; his sister, Kathleen Chevalier and her husband Kirk, his brothers, Arnold (Mike) Bockus and his wife Jennie, Roy Bockus and his wife Lisa all of Highgate, Brian Bockus and his wife Hope of St. Albans; father in law, James Hodet of Swanton; sister in law Candy Derosia of Swanton; brother in law, Michael Hodet and his wife Carol of St. Albans, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Ronnie’s request, there will be no funeral service or calling hours. Those wishing to make a donation in Ronnie’s memory are asked to consider, The Jim Bashaw Cancer & Catastrophic Illness Fund c/o Northwestern Medical Center, St. Albans 05478
