Obituary: Ruth (McDermott) Titemore 

Ruth (McDermott) Titemore, age 87, wife of the late Harland G. Titemore, died Friday, June 10, 2016, at the St. Albans Rehab in St. Albans.

She was born July 13, 1928, in St. Albans, daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Wright) McDermott.

She was raised in Franklin, attended Franklin Schools and then attended Vermont College.

After her marriage to Harland, they moved to Lyndonville where she was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Lyndonville and in later years she enjoyed crafting, traveling to various craft shows in the area and selling her many designs.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Titemore and his partner, Maureen Fournier of Ocala, FL, David Titemore of Franklin, and Richard Titemore and his wife, Jennifer of York, PA; three grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Toni Titemore, Stacey Titemore, Derick and his wife, Katie Titemore; two great-grandchildren, Molly and Jake Titemore. She was predeceased by her son, Alan Titemore and her brother, Stanley McDermott.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 26th at 1 P.M. at the Franklin United Church, 5374 Main Street, Franklin, with Pastor Jason McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Village Cemetery.
