Pop-Up Pearl [SIV438]

4/1/16: Pop-Up Pearl is having a six night festival at ArtsRiot in Burlington with Shoebox Theatre's production of Hedwig and The Angry Inch, local bands and DJs, dancing and mingling. 135 Pearl was a popular LGBT nightclub in Burlington from 1983-2006. Former owner Robert Toms organized this reunion and is also starring as Hedwig in the show - the role he debuted at Pearls which was also known for its underground theater scene.

Eva caught some pearls of wisdom about the former club's ethos and asked what this spot meant to the local community.

Pop-Up Pearl continues April 7-9th at ArtsRiot.
