RETN Channel 16 — Regional Educational Technology Network — provides 24-hour access to learning and the arts on Comcast and Burlington Telecom in the Champlain Valley, and online at www.retn.org. RETN provides local access to world views often overlooked by network television, including “Democracy NOW!,” native-language news from Germany and France, and Al Jazeera in English. And RETN’s website provides 24-hour video-on-demand access to select, locally produced educational programming. RETN also produces and trains people to produce media for learning, offers student internships and provides easy access to equipment to community members.
