Re: “Drifter's

Best food for the best price in town . Creative without being overly "foodie" . The patio wasn't yet open when we were there . Hope to enjoy it when we return .

Re: “Housing Advocates Say State Back-Rent Payments Could Halve Eviction Rate

She has a subsidised apartment , paying only $340 , and she still couldn't get her act together to pay this small amount . She couldn't take advantage of the various subsidised summer programs so she could actually work. Shame on her ! What kind of lesson is she teaching her boys , be a leech on society and don't worry because you will always be taken care of ?
I feel for those who struggle to make ends meet, not in subsidised housing , who are responsible adults doing their best . I feel for her children,, not her.

Re: “A Reporter Tries Future Fit and Lives to Write About It

I was prepared even eager to conclude that this place should be called Flim Flam Fit . A place for people with too much time and money, eager to part with the latter to prove how special they are . I'm not sure if I've fully changed my mind but it certainly is a humorous and well written article .

Re: “Lawsuit: Nectar's Negligence Caused 'Wild West'-Style Shooting

I'm betting Mr. Nashid case will end up being referred to the Burlington Community Justice Center. There's a good chance he will end up having the book thrown at him . In Vermont that means community service , possibly a fine which will be forgiven . Who knows, Nectars and staff may suffer greater consequences then this fine citizen .

Re: “Words of Wisdom: Seven Days' Commenters Both Trolled and Consoled in 2018

How about a third option . It doesn't matter whether Sanders loves or hates 7D , if he grovels to or bans this publication . What matters is that he continue to be reported on from a local perspective . And yes he has thin skin but I don't care .

Re: “Back Story: Most Memorable Interview

Francis and Simon's story made me tear up when I first read it . And it did it again . Beautiful and heartbreaking .
