Re: “Walters: Did the Governor Just Wave the White Flag?

I think we are missing the big point in Vermont and that is we are being represented by a band of progressive out of Staters who could care less about the people that have spent their lives here making this state the wonderful place it was earning little money while doing that.

the good hard-working people of Vermont that invested their lives here are being priced out of their own State and it is obvious by the number leaving the state

We are a test tube for these progressives and that is all we are.

Things will never change until the people in Vermont wake up and start to vote the out-of-state representation we have in Montpelier out of office and get rid of these progressives that are doing nothing but tearing the state apart

Re: “Rutland Mayor Says He Was 'Whooped' by Refugee Backlash

Mayor Louras,

You need to stop blaming your loss on the refugee situation you created..

You clearly lost because you are a deceitful person and have no problem lying to the public.

I think it is sad that you cannot accept that and you still want to cast a dark cloud on the hard-working honest people of Rutland Vermont and the surrounding area.

When I attended the mayoral debate I heard you make the statement that everyone is watching to see the results of the mayoral election.

It seemed as though you threatened everyone that if you weren't elected the people of Rutland Vermont would look like they were against the refugees.

The people in this community should have been allowed to have some input in this major decision but YOU decided to leave them out.

You losing this election is only the result of you being deceitful and ignoring the voters of Rutland, VT.

Re: “Walters: Welch, Sanders Call for Sessions to Resign

I find it very disgusting that Peter Welch, Bernie Sanders and Pat Leahy jump on the bandwagon condemning anything to do with the Republican Party without honestly looking at the circumstances. Yet they choose to ignore what the Democratic party has done and condemning them as well

I am really upset at least 3 people that supposedly represent the state of Vermont Inn Washington DC..

I have called in several questions to all three of these people but unless you hop on the bandwagon that represents their agenda they refuse to answer your questions.

It is time to dump this kind of representation

Re: “Outta Town: Vermont's Congressional Delegation Spends Recess Far From Home

When I heard what he wasn't returning to Vermont during the break I just assumed he was headed to Virginia where I am hearing rumors that that is his home now

Maybe you guys could clear up the confusion in this and print where Leahy claims his residency...

I have called Leahy & Welch and Bernie Sanders several times and ask why they have not spoken out against the violence in America and I have yet to receive a response from any of them regarding that

I also called each and every one of them and asked when money was taken from Social Security who took that money and was it ever paid back and I have yet to hear on that

These people could care less about Vermont the only time you see them is when they want to be reelected

It is time to dump these three people out of Vermont along with the rest of the liberal progressives who are hell-bent on destroying the state of Vermont

Re: “After Fighting for Refugees, Louras Battles to Remain Rutland's Mayor

I think the residents of Rutland Vermont should deny Louras reelection to the office of Mayor because he was deceitful to them.

This whole process under Louras was well hidden from the public because he wanted to get his way..

This isn't just a matter of allowing refugees to come in to Rutland Vermont it is a matter of security that was completely ignored Louras.

If he wanted to act like a mayor he would have let this issue go to vote and let the people he supposedly represents decide what they felt was best for their community.

I don't think the residents of Rutland can trust this man in any way to represent them in the future.

Re: “The Internet Branded Her a Racist. Does It Matter That She’s Bipolar?

This woman uses being bipolar as the reason for her posting a disgusting remark on Facebook

I guess I would have to ask what is the excuse the rest of her friends were using for posting the degrading remarks about Donald Trump that they posted on Facebook

Some of the remarks that have been made about our new president are absolutely disgusting and have no place in America... these people proposing violence against a new American president is disgusting

Look at the attack made against Barron Trump a 10 year old boy... why didn't the media make an outcry about this... when does this kind of foolishness end

Look at the behavior from Congress on down to the people in the streets ruining businesses and setting cars on fire while assaulting people.. I guess it's also okay that her and her friends were in favor of this type of behavior

It is really sad that these "college-educated people" act like complete imbeciles when they don't get their way

Re: “Senator Plans Push for Gun Bill Despite Slim Prospects

We are failing financially in the state of Vermont and our Healthcare is a disaster

We are destroying our ridgelines and our wildlife habitat

We live in the safest state in the nation as far as guns go and this is the best that this Joker can pull out of the Hat

People who love Vermont better fight to keep this ridiculous bill from passing and start to vote in representation that really cares about the state of Vermont and the problems here
