Re: “Gun Purchase Waiting Period Bill Faces Key Vote Friday

I attended the hearing in Randolph Vermont the other night...

One thing that I gathered from that meeting is it a lot of people get up there stating that they believe a waiting. Will stop suicides or it is their understanding that this may prevent suicides or that someone said this may prevent suicides...

The actual facts are there was nothing that we can do to prevent suicides..

How many of the same people claiming to be experts can tell us if the people that died from overdoses actually just died from an overdose or did they want to terminate their life

I really don't want to be driving down the road in a car full of friends when someone hell-bent on suicide has just found out they can't buy a gun and uses a car

Does this happen... of course it does.

We need to stop infringing upon the rights of the law-abiding people at the hands of do-gooders who don't have a clue what the answers are.

We need to get back to being a responsible Society where respect and responsibility are a burden of the person committing these acts not the rest of society.

I am sick of Vermont government taxing me to death and infringing upon my rights under the guise of trying to protect me..

I am a responsible lifelong taxpaying resident of the state of Vermont and I am disgusted that these people accepting money from Michael Bloomberg and George Soros can be bought and paid for to thoroughly destroy our great little State and the lives of hard-working tax-paying law-abiding Vermonters..

It is time to stop the intrusion of these out of state politicians into the lives of the people in the state of Vermont

Re: “Walters: Rallies Abound on Vermont Legislature's Opening Day

I think it is very admirable the children showed up to speak about their concerns of climate change in the state of Vermont.

In reality Vermont does not have much to do with climate change at all and penalizing us is absolutely ludicrous.

It would be nice if these children were armed with actual facts as to what we contribute to climate change and does taxation do anything to resolve the issue.

We had an excellent speaker who presented his facts after doing much research on the subject and everything he points out is taxation does absolutely nothing to reduce the problem and in some instances actually increases the problem.

I think if we are going to address the issue that these children that think taxing themselves to death without having actual knowledge of paying taxes need to become more informed.

I also think the media needs to become more middle-of-the-road on the issues so they present the actual facts from both sides.

I just want to be clear here I am an independent I am a lifelong vermonter and I will do whatever it takes to keep Vermont clean but it also needs to be livable for the people that have been here all of their lives fighting to make this state the beautiful state that everyone wants to invade now.

We are now being ruled by people that came to the state from other states because it was so beautiful...

Most of the new legislation imposing these disgusting laws on the people that have lived in this beautiful state and that are moving here because of our freedoms and our Beauty should hang their heads in shame..

Re: “Rodgers to Run as Democratic Write-In Candidate for Governor

Laura Wilson....this man is willing to pick up the torch and do something constructive for the state of Vermont. You find fault with that?

I have yet to see you post one decent comment abut this patriot who chooses to uphold the Constitution of Vermont without wavering in spite of the opposition to his courage.

Are you calling the courageous people the ones that chose to sell Vermonter's out with their disgusting legislation that is destroying Vermont?

You should be embarrassed.

Because John refuses to neglect previous commitments in his business that prevented him from running a campaign it makes him a hypocrite?

Edward Clark makes the statement above, ". He does not have the courage to enter the primary in the race for Governor, but will keep his "safe seat" and allow his far right lunatic friends to run a right-in campaign for him. What a coward!."

Edward did you bother to research why John did not enter the race? There is a video interview with Keith Hanson that pretty much explains it. Maybe you should watch it and then issue a well deserved apology to one of the greatest men to serve Vermonter's under the golden dome.

Maybe you should thank his far right lunatic friends for bringing the most qualified candidate for Governor to the table to rescue us from the destruction doled out by unqualified representation out to destroy this state and her culture.

Thank you John Rodgers for you unwavering support for the people in the State of Vermont.

Re: “Vermont Legislators Admit to Cheating the System. Are They Justified?

Just think about this David in a recent article said that he spent the night with over 300 kids...

I'm wondering how many of those kids could pass a drug test today..

When are people in Vermont going to wake up and get rid of the garbage

Re: “A Gunshot Survivor Aims to Secure Background Checks in Vermont

If you go read the story about this woman first you'll find out she is not a vermonter.

She is being paid by Michael Bloomberg to destroy gun rights in the safest state in the nation although she lives in New Hampshire.

If you look online you can see her story and you will see that she ended up being shot but she had months to get out of a bad situation and chose not to..

There is not a gun law that these people and acted that makes you or I or any schools safer than they currently are.. if you took time to listen to the vote today many senators spoke out about this.

There was a bill that was passed 30 to nothing and then the gun grabbers took it and destroyed it and that was the only Bill that would have provided some security for both the domestically abused and our school children..

I am posting something that was in the Times Argus that will show each and everyone of you whether you are in favor of gun control or opposed to it that none of these laws prevent criminals from obtaining guns..

People that supported these laws only voted for representation that is taking away their security in the Constitution of the United States of America and of the state of Vermont.. these disgusting people that are elected to uphold the Constitution should hang their heads in shame..

There was an article in the Times Argus today where a girl bought three guns for other people... a perfect example that you will never keep guns out of the hands of the criminals

Re: “Analysis: How Gun Votes Divided the Vermont House

This is proof that no additional laws will affect criminals wanting to get guns in the state of Vermont.

We are living in a drug-induced society and people who want guns will get them anyway they can regardless of what the Socialists under the golden dome in Montpelier or telling you.. they are pushing for the destruction of the state of Vermont..…
