The very same technology that the administration claims they can use to save money, makes it possible for them to staff those positions from the same places. Fine, if an area has a low call volume overnight, you don't have to fill that seat and can let it be handled at another PSAP, but for the love of Vermonters, please do not let go half the dispatch talent in this state with the stroke of a pen. Veteran dispatchers are there because they are the "last ones standing", that can handle a very difficult job, they are almost irreplaceable, really.
