Re: “Peter Welch Calls for the Impeachment of Donald Trump

Go impeach yourself Welch. And while you're at it, impeach the other two blowhards from Vermont.

Re: “Burlington Settles Lawsuit Challenging No-Trespass Ordinance

Yet more of Vermont's endless PC bullshit of "taking the humane and productive approach to supporting its most low-income residents." What about the people like me who do not break the law, who pay disproportionately high tax es because so many people are riding the gravy train? Burlington is on its way down. And I am on my way out, moving back to my small hometown in another state where behavior like Ploof's is prosecuted not rewarded with a windfall.

Re: “Workers Remove Crane From Site of Long-Stalled CityPlace Project

I've had enough of the lies and deceit that are Miro's self-serving agenda (development) shoved down my throat. Equal disgust goes out to his city council rubber-stampers who prove a "good investment" is an oxymoron in BTV. Government instrusion and arrogance reigns, right down to shoving bicycling down our throats by removing parking spaces and traffic lanes, building consistently disproportionately large-sized edifices that block the mountains and the sun, felling hundreds if not thousands of trees that would have stemmed the flow of literally the conveniently permitted thousands of gallons of untreated sewage running amok and spilling the muck, into the lake, and the latest big-ass project, the implementation of the "reimagining" of historic City Hall Park into an amusement center that will even include water jets from the ground up. I am on my way back to my little home town in another state. This city is a MESS.

Re: “Burlington Expected to Update Public on CityPlace Next Week

Burlington's once beautiful cityscape is quickly becoming disproportionately large buildings that will soon eclipse the sun. Private developers get their way paved: Menacing Cambrian Rise, Bayberry Commons' size and scope is mind-boggling, and just today post the judge's Friday ruling, the horrific sound of trees being felled and chipped in City Hall Park assaults the senses. Speaking of sense, there is no common sense in Burlington as I consider the permitted waste releases into Lake Champlain. IDIOTS, ignorant that planting trees is the best solution to our dysfunctional wastewater situation and carbon crazed loudmouths. I am on my way out of Vermont for good. Can't watch the devastation any longer or listen to the liberal mumbo-jumbo that seeks to put first the righs of illegal aliens, coddles drug addicts, expands welfare rolls, and slaps on the wrist, drug dealers and mural vandals. Good luck Burlingtonians. You'll need it.

Re: “Walmart Arrests Show Why Undocumented Farmworkers Are Leery of Food Shopping

I support enforcing laws to send away people who are ILLEGALLY in America. I support forcing the the legal work visas issue, Congress should enact legislation that penalizes the businesses that hire illegal aliens and deports all illegals. Hitting the pocketbook will bring about change. I support the legal status 2020 census question which I believe can provide to American citizens lawful and far more accurate Congressional representation than what currently exists. If you don't, I wonder why you won't just leave America. I support an American citizens sponsoring immigrants who obtain work visas. You liberals in Congress, put your money where you mouth is.

Re: “Vermont House Backs Paid Family Leave Bill

Another example that if voted into law will chip away at earned income and is, in my opinion. yet more unwarranted government overreach and bullying as evidenced by the MANDATORY nature of this legislation.

Re: “Senate Passes Constitutional Amendment to Slavery Ban

Igram is quoted as saying "The ancestors of many black people in this country were ripped from their homes in Africa chained, thrown into ships like so much cargo and sold, sold to the highest bidder to work on land owned by someone else," What about their very own tribesmen selling them into slavery...does that matter or factor in? I agree with JTW and Roy.
