Re: “Till Kingdom Come

@ Jernigan via Cathy Resmer- The following quote that is now on the story was not there this morning. Being able to go in and change a story after the fact is a beautiful thing...

"All these stories are true, though names and locations may be altered to protect privacy"

In response to the second point, I did read the entire story, including the part where you supposedly "castigated" yourself. In actuality, I do not think you castigated yourself, instead you wrote and published the story, which benefited you, at this poor woman's expense.

Re: “Till Kingdom Come

I used to want to read you articles because they were quirky and amusing. Not any longer. It really offends me that you disclosed so much private information about this woman, who likely would not have shared any of it with you, had she known you were going to be naming her, providing background information about her life, giving her location, and her health status. Maybe you can get away with that sometimes, but this woman sounded like she deserved your empathy and kindness, not to be a center piece of your carnival advertisement side note. You crossed the line, for the only reason of trying to sound quirky and memorable, which in actuality sounded superficial, lame and offensive.
