These Bernie fanatics believing that Bernie is somehow going to still be the nominee despite the fact that he lost the popular vote, lost the delegate count, lost more states, and has no mathematical chance of winning the nomination really says something.
Because Hillary won the most votes, the most delegates, the most states, and has a majority of the delegates indicates that she will be the Democratic nominee. Claudia needs to ease off on the Kool-Aid and check back with reality.
Has the makings of a great Speaker, Governor or Lieutenant Governor. Hope she considers stepping up to serve someday. I would certainly support her.
I'm all for Bernie running. However, I am voting for Hillary. She can win and I don't think Bernie can. And you know what, Hillary is starting to talk about issues that Bernie has been talking about so I think that is progress right there. I am really looking forward to the debates and I feel that a rigorous primary for the Dems is good for the Party and good for the country.
Thought this was interesting and I should have sent it to Dave, who I like very much but I completely disagree with on this issue.
Medical professionals are in agreement that you need to get your kids vaccinated. On top of that, we have a small outbreak in Charlotte and this is how you vote. C'mon guys. I got vaccinated and I turned out just fine while two cousins' parents passed on vaccinations and they were sick constantly growing up (e.g., whooping cough). It's just stupid.
I'm actually doing a lot better under Shumlin. I started my own business, I have health insurance and I am finding success in Vermont. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Paul, I take issue with your tone in this. It's pretty mean spirited and not objective which I have come to expect and respect from you. If you looked at the numbers closely, than you would see we cannot do this fiscally and with state revenues having been downgraded twice this FY and possibly another time come January -- I can see many variables in the decision and understand it. I am a supporter of single payer but after looking at what it would take -- I understand if the political will and the money wasn't there to transfer this goal into a reality.
Your rant (and it was a rant) was just spiteful. Peter Freyne would be proud but, as a loyal reader of your good work in the past, I am not.
John Campbell is actually (D-Windsor)
