Re: “Sean Hannity's Real Estate Empire Includes Okemo Condo

What law did Hannity break..... So big deal he invests in Real Estate he is a capitalist. We are a capitalist society. I know its not always the best system but show me an example of a better model that works.

If you have an issue with Real Estate investors take a look at our former GOVERNOR Shummy who tried to take advantage of his elderly neighbor for his property. That deal was not done with mutual respect. Shummy screwed him and he only corrected it once the story got out.

Re: “Grilling the Chef: Jackie Major of Butch + Babe's

THIS WOMAN HAS EXCELLENT FOOD ANDIS GREAT Working CHEF

You cant be an Executive Chef of a free standing restaurant. This person is a great chef but not an Executive Chef. I hate how free standing chefs try to use this title and its not fair to the real Executive Chefs

A Traditional Executive Chef is an executive of a large hotel or an organization such as a convention center. They tend to operate several restaurants, room service, large conference and on premise catering operations. In addition they are members of the Hotel executive committee and they typically carry the largest financial responsibilities of anyone in there organization and they are usually number 2 in the organization chart and in many cases they are the highest paid individual in the company.

Executive Chef are delegators who will have several layers of managers.... restaurant chefs, sous chefs, stewards etc... In addition to at least 100 rank and file employees in most large hotels.

Executive Chefs are competent professional cooks but usually not the most creative. They are leaders and administrators and are knowledgeable business persons

If you are a working chef be a working chef and be proud..... because you are typically the food innovators

Re: “Burlington Schools Superintendent Weighs In on Race Controversy

I don't believe this...

Jeff Wick is a hard working long term member of this community. He is not a racist.

Mr. Obeng you need to put your big boy pants on..... You are in a position that will be scrutinized for the way you operate our school system as every Burlington Superintendent has been scrutinized for the past 50 years.

This is a very difficult post.... the color of your skin has nothing to do with your attitude or performance....but the thickness of your skin does!!!! As you have to face parents, unions, teachers, students and residents.... it's not easy. Ask any past head administrators.

My advice, your candor will determine your success.... put your shoulders under this school system. Lead, set the example for working relationships, and make this happen

Remember we chose you......
