Re: “One Federal Restaurant & Lounge

Best night out!
One Federal Street in St. Albans We had been there once before but this time was a real sit down dinner. Make reservations as we did because it is a very popular place. From the fresh baked bread (just the perfect size) to the salad and looked a art piece, It wasn't just tossed on our place but placed so you could see what you were getting. So fresh, that I could not remember when I had a salad this good. I had the meat loaf which was shaped into a large round ball and baked then small french onions rings that were so crunchy added on top. The mac and cheese was large pieces of macaroni which Cabot cheese...hummmm. The special that night was pureed butternut squash. I would have loved to tried desert but after this full fitting dinner..I think I wadded out as I was so full. My husband had the salad (just like mind) and the fish and chips. And the same good. From WIlliston to St. Albans is a ways but so worth it. Food: 5 Ambiance: 5 Service: 5

Re: “High and Dry: Malletts Bay Cottagers Must Vacate Their Homes

SHAME on the Mongeon' you can live with your self's is beyond me.
What if this was one of your family members that lived in one of these homes..would you kick them out also?
It is always about much can you make by raising the rents..
It is never about doing something to work with these owners, to find something that will work for all party's involved. SHAME SHAME on you,

Re: “Sometimes You Just Have to Vent About Cellphones

So for this person to not understand about common sense ...seems like this happens everywhere.
Cell phones are good but there is a time and place for them.

Don't get me going on driving and cell phones...I can't understand the Governor about cell phones...common sense..most teenage kids don't think about what is common sense..enough issues on the road without adding in cell phones into the mixture....
