The Palm Beach Daily News calls the St. Petersburg String Quartet “chamber music of the highest order.” Founding members violinist Alla Aranovskaya and cellist Leonid Shukayev join violist Boris Vayner and second violinist Luis Salazar Avila to create one of the world’s preeminent chamber ensembles. Touring extensively, the foursome counts stops at Carnegie Hall, esteemed international festivals and a five-year residency at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music among its many professional accolades. The Grammy Award nominees travel to the Northeast Kingdom, where they present a program of works by Béla Bartók, Alexander Borodin and Antonín Dvořák at the Summer Music From Greensboro concert series.
