Great to hear the sound of freedom while the world is falling apart. Thank you to our military people for continuing to work hard while the majority of us are forced to stay home. What a great time to train while most of the airport is in a major slow down.

The ignorance shown here is really sad. The police are not going to stop you for going for a walk. The police are not going to stop you from going for a "Drive" unless you are speeding. Maybe folks need to take a few minutes and read what the law states, if you can, before jumping to conclusions. Basically states you can't gather in groups any where. Keep proper distance. The state even gives guidelines for keeping distance when passing people while out on a walk. Don't be IGNORANT like Gigrape who uses a fake name to hide behind. If you have questions then contact the resource center. Remember, this won't last forever and you WILL be judged by your actions and remarks later.

They want people to stay home and isolate if sick but now they are asking people to go out and get tested? Is that just to up their numbers for federal aid? If you are not having symptoms that need any kind of treatment then you should just stay home.

So this is the state of people here in Burlington and Chittenden county. That when the mayor is putting out information for people to help the community ignorant people have to take the low ad bash the efforts. YOU people should be ashamed. This isn't what humanity is about. Instead of bashing help, step up and do something productive for your community and neighbors.

@ Angry woman of color- Jesse bridges, the director of United Way has already publicly stated that 100% of these donations will go towards relief efforts where needed. NO money of these donations will be used for administrative fees.

I enjoyed seeing his energy the evening of the election. We shall see over the next year if he can make a difference. I think he is the one who will get an education of the authority of the school board.

There is currently NO REQUIREMENT to wear a mask, but a RECOMMENDATION. People need to pay attention to what is being said, not what they think they heard. There are 51 new cases out of how many hundreds tested? Would these truly be "New" cases or people that already had it and are now getting tested because the state opened multiple test sites that we didn't have before. The state reports 359 cases out of thousands that have been tested. I would say Vermonters have done a darn good job containing the virus but I fear that if the state keeps pushing people and tightening their noose people will start pushing back. People do have a breaking point and every turn of the screw makes it tighter and closer to the break point.
