Re: “City Market May Open Store in Old North End

City Market members have also been clear that we'd like a store in Winooski!

Re: “New Performance Venue Planned in Thriving Downtown Winooski

Great! Another Redstone atrocity in the works. Please show up at the city council meeting to voice your concerns about parking and traffic.

Re: “A More Modest Moran: Redstone to Help Redevelop Industrial Relic

Redstone? Really? Just a few weeks ago Hoekstra attempted to strong arm the city into lowering a tax assessment on one of Redstone's properties by threatening to stop developing in the city. Now Redstone is getting involved in the Moran project? What happened to the assertion that it was "barely financially feasible" to develop in the city?

Re: “Champlain Parkway Reviewed at 'Unexpectedly Civil' Meeting

Build it now and fix it later....just like the "circulator" in WInooski! Maybe this new parkway can compete with it for the top spot for accidents in the state?

Re: “Weinberger Says He Won't Support Housing in South End Enterprise Zone

Mr Mayor,
You ask what to do about "a real serious housing challenge". My suggestion (and I bet many folks will agree) is to FORCE UVM to house their students. In case you missed the news while you were busy trying to understand what the artists in the South End are all worked up over, UVM is tearing down dorms and selling medical student and family housing. This is precisely what is causing the housing crunch! Forcing UVM to house all of their students can go a long way to help resolve the housing crisis.
