Program

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Grateful Dead documentary when Fathom Events, along with Rhino Entertainment, bring The Grateful Dead Movie to cinemas nationwide on 4/20 only! Co-directed by Jerry Garcia and Leon Gast , this concert film features live performances from the October 1974 5-night run at San Francisco's iconic Winterland held during the band's so-called "retirement" prior to taking a two-year sabbatical. Following the show, audiences will get access to a special mini-documentary featuring fan footage and memorabilia from the most famous show of all time at Barton Hall and a look at footage from the upcoming Grateful Dead documentary "Long Strange Trip".
