Visitors to
Shelburne Museum shouldn't be surprised to see a replica antique clock or an oversize ruler adorning its grounds.
Newly reopened with health department guidelines in place, the museum hosts the outdoor sculpture show
"Peter Kirkiles: At Scale" on the southern half of its campus. The exhibition, on view through October 12, includes 14 sculptures of familiar objects rendered in unusual materials and sizes. Art appreciators can walk the grounds and enter select buildings with free admission through September 6. Reserve your ticket and review guidelines on the museum

Tractor Days at Billings Farm & Museum
What better way to honor and enjoy Vermont's agricultural heritage than three days of tractor-centric celebration? Two days of on-site revelry at Woodstock's
Billings Farm & Museum boast tractor-drawn wagon rides, a tractor parade and a "slow race." Day three takes place online, with opportunities to learn more about antique farm vehicles. Visit

6. Show of Support
"Melding an old-school entertainment style with new technology,
Arts Unite Windham! is a variety show spread across seven venues in real time," reads the Facebook event page for this performing arts collaboration. Produced by
Next Stage Arts Project, the multivenue virtual event features short acts from participating organizations such as Sandglass Theater and the New England Center for Circus Arts, all held together by guest emcees. The entertainment extravaganza on Sunday, August 2, supports Brattleboro's Root Social Justice Center and the local NAACP chapter.
7. Butt Out
Contrary to popular belief, cigarette butts don't just disappear when tossed to the ground. Volunteers don masks and gloves to dispose of smokers' refuse as part of the
Butt Litter Cleanup effort hosted by the Franklin Grand Isle Tobacco Prevention Coalition. Helping hands eliminate litter from St. Albans Town Industrial Park on Wednesday, August 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pitch in for all or part of the two-hour event.
