This is akin to putting people in stocks or making them wear a scarlet letter A. Its especially disturbing considering some people are later found innocent and yet their photo remains? It may not sound like a big deal until your own uncle/father/brother/sister etc has an unfortunate incidence and ends up on the wall of shame. This practice should end immediately as it is unjustly cruel and unusual which is a right protected by the eighth amendment. This practice also violates the 14th amendments guarantee of due process by effectively punishing someone without a conviction. I would hope that our Vermont police see the error of their ways and end this draconian practice.
