Vermont Information Processing

Published September 24, 2008 at 3:26 p.m.

Vermont Information Processing works with more than half of the beer wholesalers in the country for the following suppliers: Anheuser-Busch, Boston Beer Company, Coors, Corona, Heineken, Guinness, Labatt and Miller. Since 1972, the company has been providing technology and business solutions to beverage wholesalers, including a complete software package that meets the specific needs of beverage distributors. VIP Beverage Software allows all employees — in every department, at every level, in the office or in the field — to have access to the information they need to stay 100 percent in control of their jobs.

In 1990, VIP constructed and moved into a four-story building in Colchester that houses the office, an on-site childcare center and exercise facilities. The company employs more than 85 people and serves more than 400 distributor locations throughout the country.
