Re: “'Mob' Attacks Middlebury Prof and Controversial Speaker Charles Murray

Just another example of Liberals denying free speech to anyone who has a different point of view. This lack of tolerance speaks to the quality of education and the immaturity of students found at Middlebury College.

Re: “Vermont AG Supports States in Battle Against Trump Travel Ban

Another mouse that is trying to roar. Having lived in nine states, taught at five universities and served for twenty-eight years in the military, I never cease to be amused by the extent to which some Vermonters think of themselves as trend setters and political leaders. Every now and then we should all take a serious look in the mirror and ask ourselves why we are so out of synch with the rest of America.

Re: “Scott Wants Local Officials to Defy Trump’s Immigration Order

And you call yourself a Republican, Gov. Scott? I voted for you even though my friends said that you would just be a pawn in the hands of the Democrats. It seems that they were right. As a 28 year Veteran, I would like to see Vermont support our President and stop acting like the whiney little sister who never gets her way. You make me ashamed to be a Vermonter, Scott. Maybe someday my vote will elect a real Republican with some balls.

Re: “Under Supervision: Should Vermont Legalize Heroin Injection Sites?

Anything to reduce the use of addictive drugs will be an improvement over the current thinking of how to best get a cut of the revenues they produce.

Re: “Walters: Trump Orders Send Vermont Officials Scrambling

John Walters, like most writers for Seven Days, sees all news through the lens of a Liberal Vermonter. This is how all news is presented to Vermonters. PBS, NPR, VPR and WCAX only add to the skewed news that puts us out of touch with this Presidency as well as most Americans who don't live in cities. Our population of school children is on the decline. Our population is on the decline and our taxes are on the increase. There is something wrong with this future. My own suggestion is to stop talking and start listening . . . you might learn something.

Re: “Media Note: Four Reporters, Producers Leaving WCAX

Gina, loved all you did for viewers here in Vermont. Coming from Missouri myself, I want you to realize that KC is more in MO than KS so you'll be torn between being a Tiger or a Jayhawks. M I Z. Z O U.

Re: “Utah Engineer Comes to Vermont to Discuss Plans for Mega-Village

What makes me crazy is that some see Hall as a threat to our bucolic beauty. Years ago we outlawed billboards for that very reason. Now our hillsides are spawning solar arrays that look like organized junk yards. Maybe it about time we got our priorities straight. Hall is on the mark. GroSolar and similar organizations only want cheap space to make their profit at the expense of those of us who value Vermont's once unsurpassed beauty.
