The Burlington ReDiscover Jazz Festival has released its full schedule of virtual and televised events. The 11-day series kicks off Thursday, June 4, and replaces the annual Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, which was canceled in April due to the coronavirus pandemic. The festivities run until Sunday, June 14.

The color-coded schedules (see screenshots below) indicate not only the date and time of individual blocks of programming, but also through which platform the event can be viewed. Orange text means the presentation will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube, blue text specifies a Vermont Public Radio broadcast, and black text specifies the content will be shown on Vermont PBS.

Meet-the-artist interviews from years past compose a substantial portion of the lineup. But Steve MacQueen, artistic director of festival presenter the Flynn, will also interview several artists live via streaming media, including saxophonist Melissa Aldana at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, bassist Christian McBride at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 8, and pianist Marcus Roberts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 11.
