
Patricia M. Annable, 86, passed away at the University of Vermont Medical Center on December 10, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 19, 1939, in South Burlington, Vt., the daughter of Dorothy Boyce, and raised by her loving grandparents, Melton and Gertrude Miller.
She worked for many years at Hannaford as a cashier. Pat had served on the Northgate Residence Board and was an avid reader.
Pat is survived by her four children and their spouses: Dottie and Bob Latimer of Tampa, Fla.; Debbie and Perry Coughlin of Georgetown, Texas; Lynne Annable and Jeff Willette of Burlington, Vt.; and Stephen and Kendall Annable of Haddon Heights, N.J. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Kendra and Justin Akey, Kayla and Shane Ronan, Kyle Latimer, Bryan and Ruby Coughlin, Matthew and Mikka Coughlin, Mindi and Shaun Heath, Spencer Annable, and Drew Annable. Pat had 20 great-grandchildren, whom she loved spending time with. Also surviving her is her brother, Ernest (“Butch”), and his wife, Judy Bragg; and her sisters Adele Brooker and Judy Boyce.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2005; her granddaughter Heidi Bruce; sister Lyann Shepard; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment will be on May 30, 2026, 11 a.m., in Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, Vt., with a Celebration of Life to follow at noon at Northgate Residence Hall in Burlington.
