That Appendix C, Rule and Regulations of the Traffic Commission, 7A Accessible spaces designated, Section 12 No parking daytime or weekdays except by trucks loading or unloading, Section 12-1 No Parking except vehicles loading or unloading, Section 25 Taxicab stands, Section 29 Special parking of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Burlington is hereby amended as follows:

Section 7A Accessible spaces designated.

(a) No person shall park any vehicle at any time in the following locations, except automobiles displaying license plates or placards issued pursuant to 23 V.S.A. § 304a, or any amendment or renumbering thereof:

(1) – (6) As written.

(7) On the north side of Main Street, in the first two spaces west of Church Street. On the north side of Main Street in the first and second space east of the mid-block crossing at City Hall Park

On the south side of Main Street in the second space west of Church Street from 6AM-5PM for no more than fifteen (15) minutes.

(16) In the first space east of Church Street on the north side of Main Street for a maximum time limit of thirty (30) minutes. On the north side of Main Street in the second space west of Church Street from 6AM-5PM for no more than fifteen (15) minutes.

(33) Reserved. On the west side of Church Street in the first space south of Main Street for the entirety of the 50’ parking area from 6AM-5PM for no more than fifteen (15) minutes.

Section 29 Special parking.

No parking shall occur at the following locations unless by:

(a) Car share organizations. Valid car share organizations shall meet the following criteria: Require users to be members of the car share organization. Provide ubiquitous self-service access to all, or most, of a shared fleet of automobiles at locations not staffed by the car share service organization. Encourage short-term, local trips and discourage users from driving more than necessary. Provide its members automobile insurance that exceeds the State-mandated minimum when its members are using car share vehicles and shall assume responsibility for maintaining car share vehicles.
