Feldman’s Bagels will open its third bagel shop and café next month at 2989 Shelburne Road in Shelburne, site of the former Bruegger’s Bagels.
The restaurant will make its own bagels, as do the locations on Pine Street in Burlington and North Main Street in St. Albans, according to general manager Ryan Canfield.
The menu will be familiar to Feldman’s regulars: soups, salads, sandwiches and bagels smeared with cream cheese in flavors that range from maple walnut to pesto, jalapeño to veggie. In addition, the Shelburne bagelry will serve a few new drink items, including smoothies, cappuccinos and caffe lattes, Canfield said. In the spring, the plan is for the new Feldman’s to add acai and other breakfast bowls to its menu, he noted.
Feldman’s is aiming for a March 4 opening in Shelburne. Hours will be Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In other bagel news, Burlington Bagel Bakery opened its second location on February 7 at 93 Church Street, also the site of a former Bruegger’s. It opens weekdays at 7 a.m. and weekends at 8 a.m., and closes at 5 p.m.
