State of the Arts
Central Vermont shoppers flock to Randolph’s long-running Artisan Holiday Market, a one-stop gift shop. In a room bedecked with paper snowflakes and lace, more than 60 local artists display their handmade wares — think ceramics, paintings and prints.

Euro Vision
The spirit of the season is alight in the heart of downtown Burlington with the return of BTV Winter Market. This annual European-style outdoor market showcases a rotating group of Vermont vendors, while cozy fires, games and music make the atmosphere even merrier.

Small Wonders
Small Business Saturday starts a day early at the Holiday Maker’s Market, held at a brewery in Alburgh. Local musicians — Dale and Darcy on Friday and John Cronin & the Missisquoi River Band on Saturday — soundtrack this celebration of area entrepreneurs.

Jolly Ol’ Town
Talk about decking the halls: Bristol’s Holley Hall brings all kinds of eye candy with its appropriately named Holley Jolly Holiday Market. Artisans including Trillium Handcrafts, Cieri Fabrication and Muriel’s of Vermont vend everything from paintings to pottery to pretty knits.

Rockin’ the Roundabout
At the Winooski Holiday Pop-Up Shop, local makers take over bars, restaurants and retail shops around the rotary. Get your Pop-Up Passport stamped while scooping up handcrafted gifts, tipping back festive tipples and grooving to local DJs such as Disco Phantom.

All’s Fair
Shelburne’s Winter Fair & Artisan Market kicks off on Friday with locavore eats from the Farmers & Foragers food truck and shopping for adults and older teens. Saturday is a family-friendly fair also featuring nature crafts, winter games, a puppet show and a visit from the Pocket Fairy.
