The Very Small Donut Company in Waitsfield is closed, and owners Bill and Kim York are looking for an interested buyer, reports realtor David M. Dion. For $70,000, that party can acquire the business name, recipes and all of the furniture, fixtures and equipment. For those who never visited, Dion explains that “donuts and awesome sandwiches” were the business’ forte. His advice: “Carpe donut.”

Co-owner John Welter confirmed that The Den in Waitsfield, famous for its burgers, is closed and for sale. He chose not to comment on the reason for the closing or to disclose the name of his realtor.
