John MacWalters Jr., age 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Thursday, August 27, 2026, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Ready Funeral & Cremation Services, Mountainview Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction. A graveside service with military honors will immediately follow at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 475 Furnace Rd., Randolph Center, at 1 p.m.
