OK, not really. I actually like Mr. FeatheR quite a bit. Will I have fun at his expense from time to time? Indeed I will. But you can say that about almost anyone in this town — I try to poke fun equally across the board. And generally speaking, I try to keep it all in good fun. I mean, I rag on myself as much as anyone else.
However, it seems not everyone shares my tongue-in-cheek approach. In particular, a Mr. “Seth Bailey” who writes for a humor(ish) website called Something Awful. In his most recent missive, he spends a good nine pages describing in explicit, unflinching detail why he loathes CrowfeatheR. Let me tell you, it is brutal stuff — it also borderline slanderous and on par with or beyond the tastelessness of which he accuses CrowfeatheR.
I was going to excerpt some of the choicest bits. But frankly, I just don’t have the stomach this morning. It’s that rough. So here’s a link to the piece. Fair warning: this is not for kids or anyone easily offended by grotesque language.

I LOVE SomethingAwful, and this makes me love ’em that much more. CrowfeatheR came on the scene during my reign — I couldn’t believe he was real. Ultimately, I tried to ignore him. Can’t believe he’s still trying to convince the world of his Rock God-itude. It’s so fucking over the top. One thing’s for sure (and I can say this now with impunity): he seems like a super-douche. But thanks for sharing this — made my night!

oh wow. As a former Burlingtonian, all i can say is wow!There were some characters in my day, but this guy might just take the cake. Normally, i never dis on local music because, frankly, good for you for getting off your butt and trying to create something. Sometimes, however, those creations happen in the lower intestines. This is one of those times.
Yeah, too bad that article is legitimate; the only farce in this situation is Crowfeather’s own deplorable boasting. Really, Dan Bolles, what was the point of this article? You diss Crowfeather, diss SomethingAwful dissing Crowfeather, then diss Crowfeather some more. If you’re going to involve yourself in the drama, at least pick a side.
Interesting, these talentless jabronies don’t quit with the hate, lol. I like the comparison to Dee-lite and Rob Zombie, with insults like that who needs compliments.
The only people who like that website are people who’s main mode of transportation is still just a skateboard at 35. I love the fact they all hate me too, it’s just a few less dirt bags who only steal music and don’t buy any, so who needs em? About 10,000 people read that libelous article and about 8 million people watched me perform on national TV and who knows how many thousand listen to my Radio show every week. Keep hating ya lil jabronies!
Update: CrowfeatheR was arrested for some sex-related crime with a minor to the surprise of absolutely nobody.
