It’s Monday, which means it’s time for your weekly dose of locavore levity: the Joke of the Week! This week’s joke comes from Burlington’s Eric Dreiblatt. Take it away, Eric…
About That Joke
Says Dreiblatt: I sat down and wrote this. How sad is that?

Think you can do better?
We’re always looking for jokes from local comedians. We publish one joke each week, and you can read through previous ones here.

“Don’t quit your day job” (rimshot)
By the way… Gabriel Iglesias.
I mean, yea, Gabriel Iglesias used the word fluffy in a few jokes and as the title of one of his specials. But he used it as an adjective meaning “fat”, though, while Eric is using it as a proper noun evoking “cuteness” (ironically, in reference to a person who you obviously “wouldn’t want to fuck with”). It’s definitely a unique word that conjures Gabriel Iglesias, but he didn’t invent it, and I think using the word “fluffy” as a pet name instead of a description of a person’s weight is totally different enough for there not to be any issue of originality here (if that’s what you were suggesting, The Oracle).
Also, the “about the joke” blurb here is damn awesome.
I’ve read this joke six times and it still makes no sense. Is the conceit that Eric wants to fuck most of the guys he meets?
