Alison Bechdel is a Vermont-based cartoonist and author of Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic — a graphic memoir turned Tony-winning Broadway musical. From 1983 to 2008 she drew the popular strip “Dykes to Watch Out For,” which ran in publications across the country, including Seven Days. She now draws single strips when inspiration strikes, as it did for this Wednesday’s national campaign — called the Ides of Trump — to bombard the White House with postcards. Messaging is subjective.
