6/12/10: Rebuilding Together*Greater Burlington organizes community volunteers to spruce up homes owned by low income, disabled and elderly local residents.
This month they converged at Barbara’s house in Winooski to provide a new roof, an energy efficient picture window, a layer of fresh paint on the shed, new gutters, a stable front porch and some basement clean up.
There’s no place like home, and in this economy, it’s nice to know that your neighbor’s have your back when repairs fall by the wayside.
