  1. Is this supposed to be funny in any way? I don’t think so. Racist, Homophobic, Misogynist, Nazi…Liberal epithets that don’t even begin to identify the insult here. WTF is Seven Days thinking publishing this? Shame on you. Shame on every one of you who work for Seven Days, & shame on anyone who reads this & thinks this has any cultural value. 2. It isn’t funny. It isn’t a laughing matter. The F-35’s are 2 to 4 times as loud as the existing F-16’s, & our politicians (Shumlin, Leahy, Welch, & Sanders) are all in with Lockheed-Martin. So maybe it would be funny if someone dressed up as Bernie Sanders was trying to give a speech in Winooski & the jets kept interrupting. I’ll leave it there, but here’s a heartening & reassuring shot of our former governor listening to the jets & telling us everything will be “ok”. http://www.vpr.net/uploads/photos/original…
