3/26/15: The 4th Annual Spectrum Sleep Out was held last Thursday on the lawn of the Unitarian Universalist Church in the heart of downtown Burlington. One hundred fifteen business and community leaders raised $192,000 by sleeping outside and showing their support for the homeless and at-risk teens that Spectrum serves. Cold temperatures, rain and mud didn’t dampen the participants’ enthusiasm, many of whom sleep out every year.

Eva also met some students and their parents who raised almost $6,000 by sleeping out Thursday night at Browns River Middle School in Jericho. Over the weekend, 379 students participated in Spectrum’s Student Sleep Out and raised $43,000, bringing the total amount to $235,000.
