As we kick off a new decade, many Americans report being more anxious and stressed than ever before. We talked to Emily Garrett, a yoga instructor and the owner of Burlington’s Laughing River Yoga, to learn how she finds balance in her busy life. We visited one of Emily’s restorative classes and also followed her on a shopping excursion with her young kids to see how 20 years of yoga practice helps her feel grounded.

  1. Nice to see Emily and her lovely thoughts after so many years. She was one of my first yoga instructors in Burlington, and she has always been a great presence.
