Tucker and Emma were found in the woods as 8-week-old puppies by their first owner, who had them for seven years. When he surrendered them to a rescue in 2020, he begged for them to be kept together.
And they were.
We fostered then adopted them in 2020. We thought we’d give them “a few good years,” but instead that turned into six! Six years, several surgeries, lots of pain meds and ortho treatments, lots of behavior training. And even more love.
They were utterly bonded, and the DNA test confirmed — littermates. We transitioned them together with the help of Dr. Horn. It was so gentle, so peaceful. So perfect for my twinnies.
