And lunchers get to choose from dozens of ingredients for customized salads that they pair alongside sandwiches and fresh soups.

During Restaurant Week, that spirit of creativity continues. For $10 lunch, diners pick a two-item lunch combo from a menu of half-sandwiches, side salads and seasonal soups, ranging from a Nantucket chicken sandwich with avocado and blue cheese crumbles to a vegan Red & Green salad with greens, tomatoes, tofu, fresh basil, strawberries, cucumbers, and balsamic viniagrette. And everyone gets a mini-cupcake for dessert!

On Monday, April 30, late-afternoon visitors to New Moon will be able to segue lunch into a lively Food Salon, Unlocking the Food Chain. Join renowned author Barry Estabrook and cookbook author Marialisa Calta as they discuss the hidden stories behind the food we eat. The fun wraps up at 7 — just in time for a dinner out on the town.
