Application 4C1366 from Town of Shelburne, 5420 Shelburne Rd., Shelburne, VT 05482 was received on November 13, 2025 and deemed complete on December 8, 2025. This permit specifically authorizes the construction of a new sewage forcemain that runs from the Town of Shelburne’s Treatment Plant #2 on Turtle Lane, along the Ti Haul Trail to Bay Road, to Treatment Plant #1 on Crown Road. The project will consist of approximately 7,545 linear feet (LF) of 14” HDPE sewer forcemain installed via directional drill, 445 LF of 6” high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sewer forcemain installed via directional drill, and 3390’ of 12” polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer forcemain installed via open trenching, 3930’ of 4” PVC sewer forcemain installed via open trenching, approximately 2280’ of 6” PVC sewer forcemain installed via open trenching and cleanout vaults and all other necessary appurtenances. The Project is located at 53 Turtle Lane, 81 Crown Road, and along Bay Road and the Ti Haul Trail, in Shelburne, Vermont.

No hearing will be held and a permit may be issued unless, on or before January 5, 2026, a party notifies the District 4 Commission in writing of an issue requiring a hearing, or the Commission sets the matter for a hearing on its own motion. Any person as defined in 10 V.S.A. § 6085(c)(1) may request a hearing. Any hearing request must be in writing, must state the criteria or sub-criteria at issue, why a hearing is required, and what additional evidence will be presented at the hearing. Any hearing request by an adjoining property owner or other person eligible for party status under 10 V.S.A. § 6085(c)(1)(E) must include a petition for party status under the Act 250 Rules.
