Bonnie Marie Bean, 75, died on September 13, 2025, at the Menig Extended Care Facility in Randolph Center, Vt., surrounded by family members.

Bonnie was born on July 3, 1950, in Brattleboro, Vt., to parents Constance Howard and Harding Powers. After an earlier marriage to Doug Bouvier and divorce, Bonnie married David Bean in 1994. She and David lived in Shelburne, Vt., until his death in April 2018. After 38 years of service as an emergency communications specialist with the Burlington (Vt.) Police Department, Bonnie retired in July 2014.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Charmaine Bouvier, Blaine Bouvier (Ryan), Lisa Bean (Bryant) and stepdaughter Stacie Chenery; siblings, Russ Hanson, Jerry Hanson and Sherri Smith; sisters-in-law, Sara Aulis (Christopher) and Mary Ellen Bean (Timothy); nephew, Ryan Aulis (Nicole); and niece, Kristen Cooper (Mark).

Bonnie was known for her welcoming smile, hospitality and love of family outings in Maine.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Colchester, Vt. A burial will follow in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
