Kim Eileen McEntee was born on June 6, 1956, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., to Harry and Phyllis McEntee. Kim grew up in upstate New York and later Shelburne, Vt. Kim was beloved by many and is remembered for her infectious laugh and for her kindness.
Kim spent her career as a computer chip design engineer, beginning her career in Vermont at IBM. She lived and worked for some of her career in North Carolina, then finished her career at Skyworks in Massachusetts. She retired in 2022, then returned to Vermont, where she lived her final years where she could be closer to her family.
Kim was predeceased by her parents, Phyllis and Harry McEntee, and her brother Scott, who passed in 1976. Kim is survived by her siblings John McEntee (Caroline Koehler), Kris McEntee and Beth McEntee Brod (Charles Brod); along with her siblings’ children, Jesse McEntee (Rachel Krasnow, Ella and Levi), Wesley McEntee (Sarah Winget), Lily Brod, Grace Brod, and Mac Brod. Kim was surrounded by her family when she passed.
