On May 7, 2026, at 10:25 a.m., Nancy W. Zoller, 73, of Williston, Vt., died. She left behind a husband, Larry, 76; two children, Sarah (45) and Daniel (42); and two grandchildren, Aurora (15) and Madeleine (11). Others who mourn her loss include her older sister, Carolyn, and her younger sister, Barbara. They are joined in grief by Sarah’s husband, Craig,; Barbara’s husband, Jim; Carolyn’s husband, Arthur; and several nieces and nephews.
It may seem like a cliché, but it is impossible to properly state the effect that Nancy had on the people that she touched. Nancy was a first- and second-grade teacher for more than 40 years, and her students adored her, as did the parents of her students. Needless to say, her passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of all of us who loved her.
As I write this I realize there are more than 50 people who would like to be contacted with information about Nancy. If you discover that you have been excluded, please do not be upset. That is not something Nancy would have wanted. Just realize it was inadvertent on my part.
On Monday, May 25, 2026, 2 p.m., we will have a celebration of Nancy’s life at Temple Sinai in South Burlington. After the ceremony, we will travel to Ahavath Gerim Cemetery on Fielding Lane in South Burlington, where her ashes will be interred. Following the burial, we hope you will join us at our home for good food and better memories, 175 Creeks Edge Dr., Williston, VT 05495.
Lastly, please do not send flowers or food. Both Nancy and I discussed this and would like, if you see fit, to send a donation to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Lois McClure-Bee Tabakin Building, 237 East Ave., Burlington, VT 05401. Nancy stayed at the Lodge when she was not well, and they could certainly use your help. Arrangements are in the care of LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Services.
