Cassandra Marie Cassie Viens a longtime area resident passed away unexpectedly early, Wednesday, September 21st, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born in East Ridge, Tennessee on April 26th, 1996, the daughter of Richard and Tracy (Figueredo) Viens. Cassie was 20 years old.
Cassie was a 2014 graduate of Bellows Free Academy and was attending Community College of Vermont at the time of her passing.
She is survived by her parents, Rick and Tracy of St. Albans, her sister, Maya, of St. Albans and her grandparents, Claire Viens and Darrell and Kay Figueredo. Cassie is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Cassies Life will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2016, at 4:00 P.M. at the Northside Baptist Church, 1321 Fairfax Road, St. Albans. Pastor Bruce Patterson will officiate. Her family will receive friends following the service at a reception hosted by the church family.
Cassie was a wonderful person who was loved by all who met her. She could put a smile on anyones face. She will be dearly missed.
