Ralph
Harry Orth, professor emeritus of English at the University of
Vermont, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the McClure Miller
Respite House in Colchester, Vt.
Visiting
hours will be held on Sunday, January 19, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the
Ready Funeral Home-South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington, VT. A
brief service and an opportunity for family and friends to share
memories will immediately follow. Interment will take place in
Shelburne Village Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please
make such donations as you wish to your favorite ecological or
educational nonprofit.
