Stealing from Work [SIV475]

1/8/17: Since 2012, Angie Albeck and Marianne DiMascio have been bringing original sketch comedy to life at various Burlington venues. Marianne and Angie write the Stealing from Work sketches and produce the shows. Their cast is predominantly female and their humor often focuses on women's issues and is Vermont-centric, gently poking fun of liberals, the eat local movement and our long, hard winters.

Each show takes a year to produce and there is a rotating cast. This year the show is directed by Seth Jarvis with performances by Marianne DiMascio, Chris Caswell, Alex Hudson, Jory Raphael and Geeda Searfoorce. Jess Wilson serves as sound designer, stage manager, and director of photography for the multimedia elements of the show.

You can catch Stealing from Work's "History Retweets Itself" at the Off Center for the Dramatic Arts in Burlington February 1-5th.

Music: Swale, The Next Instead, "Popular Crowd"

Kevin MacLeod, "Monkeys Spinning Monkeys," "Marty Gots a Plan," "Run Amok"
