Plato’s Closet is a family-run used clothing store in Williston — and recently, co-owner Roberta Hipes has been organizing charity events to give back to the community. The latest venture was a Saturday prom dress benefit for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a camp for kids who have or have had cancer. The event raised almost $1,000, and 134 gowns will be donated to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta for their annual formal.
